Genesis is beautiful because it’s full of engaging plots, epic tales that span centuries, in depth analyses of individuals and families, some of the greatest heroes in scripture, and some of the most evil villains. It is beautiful because there are stories of underdogs, poetic justice, miracles, and reconciliation.  But above all it is beautiful because it shows us our origins - how we got here, what our purpose is, how we’re broken, and God’s plan to fix it all through Jesus. In fact, Genesis just means “origin.”
